Fighting my way through snow and wind to get to Chateu Neuf on the other side of town, I met the Swedish-based band Dag för Dag. What a surprise I was in for, a fresh unique sound of off-beat pop music. Dag för Dag is made up of the American siblings Snavely and the Swedish percussionist only known as Chuck McKensey.

I recently stumbled across a feature I did a few years ago while I was interning at NRK Lydverket/P3tv. It´s a four-five minute piece where we followed the Norwegian band Turbonger as they released their latest album, Retox. Check out this fun little piece featuring an intersting interview with some shocking revelations on their record cover among others.
For those of you who still have´nt seen this little piece of beauty, I just have a few words; sexy, hypnotic imagery. There´s just something wrong with you if you can´t appreciate yellow-painted naked bodies running through the desert looking for some multicolored weird shape!

Yeasayers´s new album Odd Blood is out now and features a much more dance-oriented sound then their debut, All Hour Cymbals. Odd Blood is packed with indie dance tunes and fresh supprising musical turns and twitches.
So.. This blog hasn´t seen the light of day for months now... I´ve been extremely busy, getting a music festival running smoothly and producing my first short film. More news to follow on this new short, which is just a few weeks away from completion.
But today I reveal the Gerilja project in a new wrapping. In collaboration with Norwegian online music magazine Groove.no the project is now entitled "Rastløs". A fabulous Norwegian word that roughly translates restless.
First out we present to you Oslo-based indie-poppers Manzano with their track "yes, we can´t". A great little pop tune with obvious connotations to a presedential campaign I´m sure we´re all far too familiar with.
